Middle-earth: Shadow of War
Introducing the Market – Announcement
The innovative Nemesis System created unique personal stories through procedurally-generated enemies who remember every encounter and are differentiated by their personality, strengths and weaknesses. Middle-earth: Shadow of War expands this innovation with the introduction of Followers who bring about entirely new stories of loyalty, betrayal and revenge. The Nemesis System is also expanded to create a unique personal world through Nemesis fortresses, which allows players to utilize different strategies to conquer dynamic strongholds and create personalized worlds with their unique Orc army.
An important aspect of the Nemesis System now comes in forging, customizing and leading your own army of unique Orc Followers against the fortresses of Mordor. Players can attack and defend fortresses throughout the single player main story campaign and also attack other player’s fortresses through Online Conquests. Players can forge their army by dominating Orcs in the open world while encountering them as part of Orc society, and players can acquire Orcs and other items through the Market (in-game store).
Through the Market, players can purchase Loot Chests, War Chests, XP Boosts and Bundles (accessed only with an internet connection).
To purchase these items, players can spend Mirian or Gold throughout the game as one progresses. Mirian is a type of in-game currency that can be acquired by:
Gold is another form of in-game currency that can be used to get higher level Loot Chests, War Chests, Boosts and Bundles of the aforementioned content. Gold can be acquired by:
• Purchasing through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or by adding to your Steam Wallet using real money.
• Awarded in small amounts at specific milestones.
• Awarded for participating in community challenges.
Please note: No content in the game is gated by Gold. All content can be acquired naturally through normal gameplay.
Do you need an internet connection to play the game?
What is Mirian and how do I earn it?
What is Gold and how do I earn it?
What can I get with Gold?
Do I have to pay for Gold?
What do you mean when you say Gold can save time?
Does Gold give me an advantage in the game?
What are Online Conquests and Online Vendettas?
If players attack your fortresses during Online Conquests, can you lose your Orcs or fortresses?
Are there unique items in the market purchased using Gold that you can’t get through normal play?
How much does Gold cost?

After just watching the stream, I was wondering if there is an option to "share" your favorite orcs with other players/friends, who can then purchase them in the store.

I want to get a Mithril war chest, just want to know the price for one chest since its just Orcs and some training boost in it
I don't really want to spend like 20$ just to get one Mithril chest since you know
(Its just Orcs, so if they die....) Like is it even worth it?
The reason, I'm not sure about this is (It feel like its not something we get to keep permanantly beside Talion gears)
If the price isn't too much, I think it can be overlook but I just hope maybe there's a way to make it idk how to explain it but you know
(Something to help us feel like we get to keep it)
----------------
I don't think anyone want to be like
"**bleep** I just spend like 50$ on these War Chest full of Orcs and they all die and yeah I got bunch of Gems and Gears from em but they're all gone"

Cod was not put down by micro-transactions dissatisfaction, but howrepetitive and copy paste it was. I do not support micro-transactions in AAA title, only free mmo. I don't think Game benefits from using them.

So with the training orders, can we get those in-game as loot drops? Or are they only from the war chests?
Like if we killed a captain with an archer gang could he drop an archer gang training order?

Are the chests from the Silver-Mythril Editions reusable for each new game or are they one-time use?

Will there be a feature to "share" your favorite Orcs, so that they appear in the markets place for other people / friends, who can then buy said Orcs? Perhaps even distinct between buying said Orc cosmeticly or wholly.
Personally, I think this would be a cool feature.

What does gold coins cost? Orcs and loot change and die all the time, so I hope it will be some value for money.
and Im guessing one should wait to open chests to you are at a decent lvl, since the orcs will be at your lvl?
Do you get chests and training stuff outside the marked?
Are chests reuseable in another game?
EDIT: **bleep**, the questions are pouring in, I see my questions allready are asked ![]()
