New email is - firstname.lastname@example.org. Could you resend ??

Assuming your account was set up correctly (I had to reset my password), you should receive and email asking you to verify your account. Once you do that, restart your game and it should unlock. I just finished doing this about 5 minutes ago.
Note that the skins are only available in Challenge mode, New Game +, and Online play (which requires rank 2 to customize Batman or Robin).

Hey, hey created a wbid account via the my PS3 to get the 1 million batman skin. But I never got any mail with a code to unlock the skin, and how do I even view my messages on this page?

This is something that the tech team is currently looking into. Can you try logging out, re-starting your PS3, then logging back in again in order for the system to send you the confirmation email that you're supposed to get?
To send (and view) private messages, click on a member's user display name and on the right hand side you'll see a "Send a private message" text link in the "Contact" section in their profile page.

I am having the same issue. This is the first time in the past couple hours that I was even able to log in.
But yeah, I am getting the Unknown error occurred wtih your code message as well.
This is for the ps3 game.
I log into the game, it sent the confirmation email. I click on the link to verify and it gives the message:
Unknown error occurred wtih your code message
